Texture Matching

The reason most patches look like patches is texture. We match yours.

A repair can be perfectly flat and still look wrong if the texture doesn't match. We sample your existing texture, mix to match, and blend outward so the repaired area reads as part of the original wall, not a rectangle someone fixed.

What's included

  • Knockdown and splatter texture
  • Orange peel in all grades
  • Hand-troweled and skip trowel
  • Stomp and swirl ceiling textures
  • Smooth-wall blending
  • Test panels before we commit to your wall

How we approach it

  1. 1

    Sample the original

We look closely at grade, spacing, and knockdown pressure on your existing surface.

  2. 2

    Mix and test

Test sprayed on a board, compared against the wall, adjusted until it disappears.

  3. 3

    Apply and blend

Texture applied over the repair and feathered into the surrounding field.

  4. 4

    Check dry

Texture reads differently wet. We confirm the match after it dries.

This is probably you if…

  • A previous repair looks like an obvious patch
  • You have knockdown or orange peel walls
  • You're patching in an occupied, painted room
